The VMP Holding passed once again the recertification audit for compliance of the Quality Management System to the requirements of international standard ISO 9001. The audit was conducted by Bureau Veritas Certification Rus. In the course of the auditor check compliance to the ISO requirements was confirmed and no non-conformities were identified not even a minor one.

Conclusion: development, technology, production and sales of protective paint materials and coating systems, nano- and fine metal powders are carried out by the Company at a high level in accordance with the international standard. The quality management system of the VMP Holding operates effectively and is constantly enhancing.

The quality management system conforming to the requirements of ISO 9001 was introduced in the Company in 2002. Since then its effectiveness has been repeatedly supported by the results of the inspection and recertification audits.

The prize – winning ceremony “Award No. 1” was held in Ekaterinburg. This award is introduced by the “businessmen trade unions”- Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Sverdlovsk region and the Urals Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Vladimir Skornyakov, Chairman of Board of the Kamensk-Uralsky metallurgical works, became the winner in nomination “Investor of the Year”, Vladimir Kolotushkin, director of the JSC “Uralelectromed” became the winner in nomination “Exporter of the Year”, Leonid Ponomarev from the UPKB “Detal” became the winner in nomination “Professional of the Year” and Mikhail Vakhrushev, president of the VMP Research & Production Holding JSC, became the winner in nomination “Industrialist of the Year”.

The list of nominees for the Award contained more than 70 persons. The number of winners is nine persons. The winners were selected by the expert committee based on the quantitative indicators and social contribution. The award is meant for the strongest and largest, allowing also to demonstrate the most interesting and promising projects.

The project “Production complex of the VMP Research & Production Holding JSC. II stage. Production of anticorrosive paint materials” ranked third in the Best project contest in nomination “Best project of production facility”.

The Best project contest gained wide popularity, 188 applications in 16 nominations were filed in 2016.

The winners are those capable of keeping pace with the legal initiatives and meeting the challenges of urban construction and industry.

Allocation of prize-winning places in the nomination “Best project of production facility”:

I place – project “Building of shipbuilding complex “ZVEZDA”, settlement Bolshoy Kamen, Primorsky Krai;

II place - project “Re-equipment and reconstruction of the special-purpose non-atomic submarine complex JSC “Admiralteyskie Verfi”, St. Petersburg and project “Concurrent engineering and construction of hydrocracking unit, Nizhnekamsk, Tatarstan;

III place - “Production complex of the VMP Research & Production Holding JSC. II stage. Production of anticorrosive paint”, Aramil, Sverdlovsk region

The new VMP facility is located near Ekaterinburg. Its construction involves two stages. The first stage - production division for powders, in-house energy supply system and general infrastructure are in operation at the present moment.

The second stage- the winner of the Contest- production of anticorrosive paint noted for high automation level and availability of scientific and research laboratories. This new facility will be launched at the beginning of 2017. The new complex will be fitted with modern equipment, automated systems of feeding, packaging, aspiration and quality control. The new facility constitutes an up-to-date site for production of industrial protective coatings in Russia with 100% domestic investment.
