NEW! IZOLEP-SP-03 weld-through primer

VMP Holding has developed IZOLEP-SP-03 quick-drying primer based on modified epoxy resins.

The material is intended for anti-corrosion protection of steel products as a shop primer when painting in the factory, as well as for temporary anti-corrosion protection during construction. Coated products can be thermally cut and welded without increasing weld porosity.

Coating thickness is 15 - 25 microns, red-brown color, the material can be overlapped with alkyd, epoxy, urethane, vinyl epoxy, acrylate, vinyl polyester materials. Drying time to 3 degree  at a temperature of 20 (± 2) ° С - not more than ten minutes. The applied coating is guaranteed to provide protective properties for six months or more.

IZOLEP-SP-03 has been successfully tested and approved. Among other things, it got a type approval certificate from the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping (RS). The material is recommended for interoperational protection of steel sheets and ship hull structures. The primer allows welding without preliminary removal, which complies with the RS Rules.
